Since 1955, the Baden-Badener Unternehmergespräche (BBUG) have served as a unique platform for responsible leadership. Twice yearly, about 35 executives gather in Baden-Baden for three intensive weeks. Participants are either rising to or recently appointed to top leadership positions in companies, major scientific organizations, or government agencies. Despite its name, BBUG brings together participants and speakers from throughout Germany and Europe.
Through workshops, reflections, off-sites, and fireside discussions, participants address key future challenges — from corporate management and innovation to climate change, biodiversity, and security policy. In this confidential setting, they explore knowledge and solutions that can help today's leadership generation turn desirable future visions into reality.
The core program is further enhanced by multi-day international follow-up meetings and an active alumni network with various continuing formats. BBUG consistently emphasizes three core elements: relevant future-focused topics, unconventional methodology, and powerful stimulation for both personal and organizational development.
